Iuka is run on the Mayor-Board of Aldermen form of government, which consists of a Mayor and 5 aldermen. The mayor and the board of aldermen meet the first Tuesday of each month at 7:00 pm to discuss issues affecting the residents of Iuka, suggest improvements, control finances, and work to enrich the city. Residents of Iuka may submit any issue to City Hall and have the issue placed on the agenda for the next general board meeting. You are encouraged to attend and participate.
